Your privacy is
important to David Finney ('the Seller') and your details are
not released to anyone, except to those parties
involved in the payment and delivery of your
order or as required by UK law.
Orders for paintings can be transmitted to
the Seller using the 'Buy Now' buttons supplied on
the website. Payments are handled in a secure
environment on the Seller's behalf by PayPal.
Alternatively, payments can be made by cheque if
you are within the UK, assuming this has been
agreed via direct communication.
Paintings are sold on a ‘first-come,
first-served’ basis. In the unlikely event of an
order being placed for an item which has already
been sold, the Seller will provide a full
refund, plus any transaction costs incurred via
PayPal payment.
When orders have been received by
the Seller,
you will receive a confirmation e-mail. When an
order is dispatched to you, you will receive a
confirmation e-mail together with tracking
information, if relevant. Orders are not
dispatched until monies have been credited to
the Seller's account.
The Seller takes extreme care to ensure that
the artwork reaches you in good condition. The
original artwork will be sent by a recognised
courier and is sent by recorded delivery, with
tracking facilities where available. In all
cases, your signature is required on delivery.
The Seller always makes sure that the
completed delivery advice is available for your
address together with the signature. This
protects both yourself and David Finney. P.O.
box addresses cannot be accepted as a delivery
address, since David Finney cannot ensure
successful delivery.
The Seller takes care to ensure that artwork
is packed in good condition.
All artwork is insured wherever possible. If the package you
receive is badly damaged then refuse delivery
and the package will be returned. The Seller will then
contact you by e-mail or telephone to resolve
the situation. If when you open the package the
artwork is damaged, please contact the Seller
immediately and hold on to the artwork and
packing.
The Seller will try to get artwork to you as
quickly as is reasonably possible. Delivery
times to other parts of the world will vary.
Cancellations can be made at any time prior to
the despatch of the order. Refunds will only be
given at the discretion of the Seller. The
Seller reserves the right to decline any order
at his discretion.
